I've looked at Tomato, White Russian, Open WRT and DD-WRT and none of them seem to support the DIR-625 (DD-WRT says "work in progress" and "cannot be suppported" depending on which page you look at.).

I have novice experience in DD-WRT and none in OpenWRT. I recently bought a Dlink DIR-601 B1 and I was hoping to put OpenWRT on it to use as a repeater. Every time I go into the web giu and try to upload the firmware I got off the OpenWRT website it tells me "The chosen file is not a firmware file" and refuses to let me upload it.
